About Me...

Cate Petersen is an emerging Stage Manager for the live performance/production industry. Although having lived and studied in Brisbane, she is currently situated in Edinburgh!

Most recently, Cate worked as an ASM for Queensland Ballet's Midsummer Nights Dream (April 2024). 

​

Prior to this, she has volunteered predominantly as an Assistant and Deputy Stage Manager for QUT productions. Cate has also worked and volunteered as a Stage Manager, Lighting and Sound Operator outside of university. She was a sound tech and lighting operator for bands and DJs at Ric's Bar and Marquee (in Fortitude Valley), getting a chance to learn band setup!

One of her passions is working with up-and-coming artists; being a part of fresh perspectives and ideas explored in safe and healthy spaces. She hopes to work and travel, learning from different styles of live performance and stage management around the world.
